Sporting Clays Classic

September 23rd | Addieville East Farm, Mapleville, RI

Join us for our fifth annual Sporting Clays Classic, as we raise funds for our mission alongside 10+ former Patriots.

The format of the event is much like a scramble and in true “shotgun” fashion, there are 2 foursomes at each of the 10 stands and 1 – 2 Alumni shooters. Once the foursome scores the stand, they rotate through the course to meet a new pair of Alumni at each stand.

After the tournament, participants will enjoy additional entertainment and camaraderie as Dale Bishop’s Pig Pick’n BBQ will serve up its specialties. Awards, a live auction and a raffle will follow. Refreshments and adult beverages will be served as well.

Format of Event:

Shooters rotated to next stand after the Foursome had scored
Former Patriots were assigned to each stand – 1 shot with each Foursome – and remained at the assigned station to meet the next rotation of shooters
Foursomes could opt to use the Alumni’s score to replace one of the Foursome’s scores
Shotguns, Shot shells & Targets were provided – Personal shotguns were allowed

Itinerary:

10:00 am Registration
10:15 am Practice stand opens
10:45 am Welcoming huddle
11:00 am Shooters to the stands
1:00 pm Reception & cocktails
1:30 pm Lunch, awards, raffle, & live auction
3:00 pm Depart

You don’t even have to be good at shooting to enjoy pulling a trigger causing a loud bang and watching a target get blasted downfield – 300 bb’s explode from the muzzle of a shotgun and it only takes 1 to score a target – pretty good odds.
